“The Passing Months” is not exactly sad, but it reflects how a serious event can resonate through time. As the months pass there is less pain, more acceptance, and sometimes even giddy forgetfulness – a forgetfulness that can be short-lived and end abruptly. The piece was written for the amazing soprano saxophonist Daniel Gremelle.
